New tools to simplify SAP user interactions

Winshuttle, the provider of SAP usability tools has appointed Oxygen its Premier Partner in Australia and New Zealand and added several new products to its software suite.

Over the last 18 months Oxygen has made a number of successful sales of Winshuttle software into its customer base and is now promoting three new tools – Winshuttle Server, Winshuttle Central and Winshuttle Forms – all of which further simplify and automate the ability of users to interface with SAP modules. 

Oxygen Business Manager, Andrew Barker, says the new tools enable business users to work with SAP solutions directly from Excel, Web forms and other interfaces without any programming. 

“By offering familiar user interfaces to SAP and securely expanding such interactions to employees and partners, Winshuttle enables both business and IT users to solve SAP solution-based data or business process challenges.” 

Winshuttle Central is a tool that provides a rigorous workflow and approval process. It helps companies more effectively manage SAP scripts, queries and user access and also enables companies to share files and best practices across business units. It addresses specific requirements for controls and audit trails to meet corporate governance policies. 

Winshuttle Server uses Microsoft technology to provide server-based execution of key Winshuttle processes. It enables more people to interact with SAP in an easily controlled environment. 

Winshuttle Forms allows non-technical users to securely create forms-driven processes on top of an SAP deployment. Barker says this opens up a whole new world of possible applications, “whereby modern Forms interfaces can be designed to collect data or to simplify and speed up users’ interaction with the underlying SAP transactions”.
